If you use the upper part of a sock, you won’t need to make a waistband. But if you use the foot, you’ll have to add a few extra steps. Here, the socks are lined up to be cut to a minimum of 4.5″…the purple sock is offset to ensure that the upper and lower curves of the foot are lopped off. 😉
